Spring-ish Feeling

0

I survived a winter in Michigan. Victory! For someone who lived in the south for almost a decade, I think it’s a big deal. Maybe I should celebrate with a glass of wine today.

As winter comes to an end I am looking forward to visiting places that highlight spring in Michigan. We got a few inches of snow at the end of March. I hope that was the last snow for the season. Lately, I have this spring-ish feeling which has led me to do some google search looking into places to visit during spring in Michigan. It’s about time to break free form layers and boots, get out and enjoy nature. Oh! how I missed outdoors the last four months.

When I was in Texas one of my favorite things to do during spring was to visit Texas Tulip. I am dreaming of tulip garden reminiscing the time I visited Texas Tulip. Two years back around this time of the year I was dancing in the tulip garden literally (picture below) and taking pictures with my girls. I could do it every year! It never gets old! If you are in Texas and looking for a short gate-away or just an excuse to take spring pictures Texas Tulip might just be the place.

Texas Tulip located in Pilot Point, TX is about an hour and thirty minutes from Dallas-Fort Worth metroplex. You know how some parks and recreation places have crazy parking and admission fee. Well, this is not one of those places. You can park right outside the garden for free. Admission fee is only $5. If you are interested in taking some tulips home you can pick tulips for an extra charge. They even provide a cute picking basket. This place is a small colorful paradise of nature that instantly elevates your mind and fills your heart with joy.
